High Capacity Shredders

Our smaller High Capacity Shredders have a 16" feed opening and can handle up to 43 sheets (20396) or up to 60 sheets (20390) of paper at a time. These machines are driven by a powerful 2 horsepower motor and are designed to shred between 12,000 and 28,000 sheets of paper per day. Both shredders feature full electronic capabilities including such safety features as automatic shutoff when the door is open and auto reverse to prevent an overfeed. Housed in a wooden cabinet with casters, these rather stout machines are easy to move and position in their place of operation.

If you looking for something with a little more power and capacity, Dahle’s largest shredders have a 17" feed opening and can handle up to 85 sheets (20453) or up to 100 sheets (20452) of paper at a time. These hopper style units are intended to shred between 28,000 and 2 tons of paper per day and are driven by a powerful 3 horsepower motor. Metal construction makes these shredders extremely durable and with the addition of three fold out tables, stacking papers and material is now more convenient. These gentle giants are surprisingly quiet for their size and their user friendly controls make them easy for anyone to operate. For safety purposes, these machines feature a special locking mechanism to prevent injury and unauthorized use.
